Like someone else posted just pay the fee at Walmart it is the cheapest at like 2 or 3 dollars and fund the account with cash you withdrew from your main account. You can link your main checking account to your chime spending account (there are no books of personal checks for the account hence it's called spending account and you only use debit card however in the app you can have chime pay with a check on your behalf or something like that I've only seen the option never used it to really know) once the two accounts are linked you can add funds to your chime account from your main account, but the process can take up to 3 days to finalize usually about a day and a half going to chime, but from chime to a brick and mortar bank is all of 3 days in my experience. You basically just move X amount of dollars from one to the other using the app. Which can only be funded through the chime checking account. Then you will have the option for the chime credit builder account. Yeah you have to open up a chime spending account. ![]()
